Cliff Baldwin is a word artist, designer, sculptor and filmmaker. He lives and works in Aquebogue, New York.
He has exhibited in Tokyo, Cologne, Berlin, Mexico City, Los Angeles, and New York. His work is in The Museum of Modern Art, The Walker Art Center, The Museum of The Art Institute of Chicago, The National Gallery of Canada and The Museum of Rhode Island School of Design.
He invented and co-curated AQUI! in the early eighties with Davi Det Hompson and Julie Bradrick. For 17 years he orchestrated large scale installations and multiples with Fluxus artist Davi Det Hompson as the artist duo Baldwin+Hompson. He has done public sculpture in New York, Mexico City, Stockholm and Warsaw since 1989. His latest outdoor piece, NUTS, was installed on Governors Island in 2008.
