JAIME TARAZONA 

Jaime Tarazona was born in Bucaramanga, Colombia in 1975. From 1996-2000, he studied the plastic arts at Universidad Nacional in Bogotá and in 2008-09 he received his MFA from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London.

Tarazona’s work has particular appeal in Colombia where it is frequently exhibited. His most recent solo exhibits were El Cielo con las Manos at Nueveochenta Arte Contemporáneo and Paisaje at the Fundación Gilberto Alzate Avendaño, both in Bogotá in 2007. He has also shown his work in many group exhibitions since 2000, the most recent of these shows are Vamos at Nueveochenta Arte Contemporáneo in Bogotá in 2009 and MA Fine Art Degree Show 09 at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London in 2009. Tarazona has received numerous accolades including Mención Laureada. Trabajo de Grado Frutos, Universidad Nacional, Bogotá in 2004.
