Cisco Jimenez was born in Cuernavaca, Morelos in early 1969. Although he attended art school in his hometown, training and practice it is not necessarily academic; he worked with his drawings in a local newspaper and majored in Industrial Design. Always very social, very young interferes in the art world where he quickly known as a very special artist, as I do not belong to any specific style, producing an insightful work as a way to introduce an ironic view of marginality. Cuernavaca others know him for his activism by street demonstrations, called by rhyming emails imitating his work. Although a couple of years living in Mexico City (DF) and Cisco makes the work arises from Cuernavaca, it was from there that became internationally known. He has exhibited in the best galleries in Mexico, US, Europe and participated in biennials and major events.
