Georgina Quintana (Mexico City, 1956) studied at the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving La Esmeralda, Mexico City and at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, as well as workshops of Masters Nishisawa Luis Gilberto Aceves Navarro, Xavier and Hector Mario Reyes. He has been the recipient of awards such as the grant from the National System of Creators of FONCA. His solo exhibitions include OMR Gallery, Gallery of Mexican Art, Mexican Contemporary Art Gallery, Gallery Tata Vasco, Museum of Contemporary Art of Oaxaca (Mexico). He has participated in group exhibitions in Mexico and countries like Ecuador, United States, Belgium, France, Spain and Australia. His work is part of important national and international collections as Independent Curators, New York, USA; Banca Serfin, Mexico; Domecq Cultural Foundation; Mexico; Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, Mexico; Museum of Contemporary Art (MARCO), Monterrey, Mexico.
