Luis Valsoto (born 1939 ) is a Mexican artist strongly associated with the state of Jalisco , which has honored his work multiple times. He is known for his depictions of everyday life and ordinary things , especially domestic animals such as dogs , cats and horses. Valsoto exhibited his work in various parts of Mexico and the United States and other countries.
